Common mistakes

• Expecting DC current on the iFlex path — iFlex is listed for AC to 2500 A; jaw covers AC/DC to 999.9 A.
• Assuming IP30 covers wet outdoor use — rating is non-operating; plan handling accordingly.
• Ignoring frequency bands on accuracy (jaw 10–100 Hz; V AC 20–500 Hz) when measuring VFDs or high-frequency content.
• Treating this as a process transmitter — output is display / Fluke Connect logging only, not a loop signal.
• Undersizing jaw opening (34 mm) for large bus bars — use iFlex when the conductor will not fit the jaw.
