Honeywell FS20X Flame Detector

Fits outdoor/process flame detection where you need a Honeywell FS20X UV/IR multi-spectrum detector with selectable sensitivity to 60 m class.

• Sensitivity setting — Very high (60 m), high (45 m), medium (30 m), low (15 m) — switch selectable
• Response — 3–5 s to 0.1 m² n-Heptane at 30 m; 3–10 s at 60 m
• Housing — aluminum vs 316 SS.
• Comms — RS-485 ModBus / FireBus II; optional HART plug-in.
• Supply — 24 Vdc nominal (18–32 Vdc) regulated

Common mistakes

• Leaving sensitivity on Very High near nuisance IR sources without a site assessment.
• Mixing source vs sink 0–20 mA wiring.
• Ignoring FOV (±45° from on-axis) when placing detectors.
