Mid-to-high power cast-aluminum circulation heater for industrial gas and fluid duty — 1 kW to 24.6 kW total, 208–575 V, dual 3/4 in 316L stainless flow tubes rated to 3300 psi (227 bar), with NEMA 4 or NEMA 7 / ATEX enclosures.

Key advantages

  • Isolated dual-tube path — media in seamless 316L SS tubes; no contact with heating elements.
  • 1…24.6 kW — one or two three-phase delta/wye circuits plus single-phase options; max 35 A per circuit.
  • Dual 3/4 in tubes — 0.750 in OD × 0.065 in wall; 142 in (3606 mm) each; max 3300 psi (227 bar).
  • Hazloc-ready enclosures — NEMA 4 moisture-resistant or NEMA 7 / ATEX explosion-proof.
  • Sensors — J/K thermocouples or RTDs (one or two wells); insulating jacket and compression fittings available.

Typical applications

  • Rocket and jet-fuel test stands; mud testing for oil exploration.
  • LNG pre-heat and moisture removal; cryogenic phase-change duty.
  • Powder-coating pre-wash systems; packaging sterilization.
  • Natural-gas and industrial fluid heating.

Selection guide

  • Circuit / power (AAAA) — dual or single three-phase delta/wye and single-phase tables from ~1 kW to 24.6 kW (higher dual-delta codes at 240/208 V per OEM code list).
  • Enclosure + sensors (BBB) — NEMA 4 (W…) or NEMA 7/ATEX (E…) with 0/1/2 J, K, or RTD sensors.
  • Working temperature (housing @ 12 o’clock) — NEMA 4 572 °F (300 °C); NEMA 7/ATEX 482 °F (250 °C).
  • Tube options — passivation / electropolish adders; metric M10×1.5 mounting (C=M).
  • Accessories — fittings 274-55-6-7; insulation jacket 307-0-16-1 (986 °F).

Common mistakes

  • Ordering NEMA 7/ATEX when only moisture resistance is needed — or the reverse for hazloc sites.
  • Under-sizing amperage for dual-circuit high-kW codes (max 35 A per circuit).
  • Skipping second sensor when process and high-limit wells are both required.
  • Assuming single-tube geometry — CAST-X 3000 is a dual-tube platform (each 142 in).

When to RFQ / what to tell us

  1. AAAA circuit/voltage/watts; single vs dual circuit need.
  2. Enclosure NEMA 4 vs NEMA 7/ATEX; sensor count/type (BBB).
  3. Tube finish (P/EP); metric mounting; jacket/fittings.
  4. Media, pressure, target temp, quantity, ship-to.

FAQ

Q: Single or dual tube? A: CAST-X 3000 uses dual 3/4 in process tubes (142 in each). State series/parallel flow preference on the RFQ.

Q: NEMA 4 vs NEMA 7/ATEX temperature? A: OEM lists NEMA 4 to 572 °F (300 °C) and NEMA 7/ATEX to 482 °F (250 °C) at the 12 o’clock housing position.

Q: What should I send for a quote? A: Circuit/voltage/watts, enclosure, sensors, tube finish, accessories, quantity, ship-to. Compatible with systems using CAS CAST-X 3000 if you need a drop-in check — we do not claim authorized-dealer status.
