Key parameters
Most compact CAS dual-tube circulation heater for mid-size liquid and gas duty — 2.5 kW to 15 kW total, 208–575 V, dual 5/8 in 316L stainless flow tubes rated to 4000 psi (275 bar), with NEMA 1, NEMA 4, NEMA 7, or ATEX enclosures.
Key advantages
- Compact dual-tube platform — media isolated in seamless 316L SS; Inconel / passivated / electropolished options.
- 2.5…15 kW — three-phase wye/delta and single-phase tables; max 30 A per circuit.
- 5/8 in tubes — 0.625 in OD × 0.065 in wall; 130 in (3302 mm) each; max 4000 psi (275 bar).
- Enclosure range — NEMA 1 / 4 / 7 / ATEX with thermostat and high-limit options on hazloc boxes.
- One- or two-tube builds — OEM tubing codes support dual (standard) or single-tube configurations.
Typical applications
- Natural-gas regeneration and fuel conditioning.
- Paint, solvent, and petrochem heating; TCU loops.
- Beverage processing and pasteurization.
- Industrial gas heating, air separation, urethane/foam systems.
Selection guide
- Circuit / power (AAA) — OEM tables from ~2.5 kW to 15 kW (e.g. 021 three-phase delta 15 kW @ 480 V).
- Enclosure / thermostat (BB) — standoff or pipe-nipple mounting digits with NEMA 1 / 4 / 7 / ATEX and thermostat options.
- Working temperature (housing @ 12 o’clock) — NEMA 1 662 °F (350 °C); NEMA 4 572 °F (300 °C); NEMA 7 / ATEX 482 °F (250 °C).
- High-limit (C) — only with NEMA 7 or ATEX (auto/manual reset options); not on NEMA 1/4.
- Sensors (DD) — none / single or dual J or K / RTD (two wells → two digits).
- Tubing (E) — dual or single 5/8 in; EP or passivated variants; mounting Imperial 3/8-16 or metric M10×1.5.
- Accessories — tube-union fittings 274-55-6-8; jacket 307-0-22-1 (986 °F).
Common mistakes
- Requesting a high-limit switch on NEMA 1/4 — OEM allows high-limits only on NEMA 7/ATEX.
- Ordering single-tube (E=4…6) when dual-tube flow/residence time is required.
- Mixing standoff vs pipe-nipple mounting digits in BB without confirming mechanical layout.
- Ignoring 30 A per-circuit limit on high single-phase codes.
When to RFQ / what to tell us
- AAA circuit/voltage/watts; BB enclosure/mount/thermostat.
- High-limit (C) if NEMA 7/ATEX; sensor digits (DD); tube code (E); mounting (F).
- Media, pressure, target temp; fittings/jacket need.
- Quantity and ship-to country.

FAQ
Q: Why choose 2500 vs 2000 or 3000? A: 2500 is the compact dual-tube mid-size (2.5–15 kW, 5/8 in tubes to 4000 psi). 2000 is single 1/2 in to 5100 psi; 3000 is larger dual 3/4 in to 24.6 kW.
Q: Can I get ATEX? A: Yes — OEM lists ATEX enclosure codes alongside NEMA 7 for CAST-X 2500.
Q: What should I send for a quote? A: Circuit/voltage/watts, enclosure/mount, sensors/high-limit, tube config, accessories, quantity, ship-to. Compatible with systems using CAS CAST-X 2500 if you need a drop-in check — we do not claim authorized-dealer status.
