Common mistakes

Treating this as a complete probe assembly — process connection and sheath are blank by design; the sensor (RTD/TC) is ordered separately or via assemble-to-sensor.
Ordering dual-sensor diagnostics without confirming single vs dual input on the model code.
Mixing HART supply expectations with Fieldbus loop design — lock protocol and available voltage first.
Claiming SIL or hazardous-area coverage without the matching order codes and certificates on the quote.
Leaving conduit entry (NPT vs M20) and housing material (Al vs SST) blank on the RFQ.
